Notice for the 1st International Association of Neural Restoration Annual Conference (IANRAC)

Neural  regeneration, repair and functional recovery is one of the most active  academic fields. In order to facilitate a coordinative effort to improve  of both basic and clinical researches in neural restoration, enhance  scientific international exchanges and exhibit the achievements in this  field, create a broad professional platform of academic exchange for  global basic scientific researchers and clinicians working in neural  restoration field, including neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics,  rehabilitation, pediatrics, physiotherapy, neural transplantation,  hyperbaric oxygen, ophthalmology and so on, promote interdisciplinary  exchanges and collaboration then to explore more innovative and  effective interventional strategies, the 1st International Association  of Neural Restoration Annual Conference sponsored by International  Association of Neural Restoration (IANR) will be held on May 15-18, 2008  in Beijing, People’s Republic of China. The conference was created with  the purpose “Working together to explore and promote international  neural restoration and clinical application safely and legally” and with  the theme “neural restoration”. Many prominent experts in this field  from around the world will take part in this conference to give lectures  and participate in general academic exchanges.

I. Content:

 

1.  Finalizing the structure of International Association of Neural Restoration (IANR);

 

2.  Discussing  and formulating the Standard Recommendations on Clinical Application of  Neural Cell Transplantation Strategy, Spinal Cord Injury Functional  Rating Scale (SCI-FRS) and ALS/MND Self- Assessment Scale;

 

3.  Reviewing the past, facing the present and prospecting the future on neural restoration;

 

4.  Discussing issues that are relating to or affecting neural restoration research;

 

5.  Discussing how to expand and promote neural restoration research;

 

6.  Special reports and lectures.

IV. Essay Submission Guidelines:

 

1. Essay category:

 

(1)     Clinical and basic research of neural restoration;

 

(2)     Advanced technology and activities in neural restoration field;

 

(3)     Review the past, current and future prospect on neural restoration;

 

(4)     Discussing issues that are relating to neural restoration research;

 

(5)     Exploring how to expand and promote neural restoration research;

 

(6)     Reporting and discussing typical and intractable cases.

 

2. Essay Requirement:

 

(1)     All  the papers used by conference need an abstract (300-800 words) and  please indicate the category of the paper according to above categories  (Please keep a copy of the manuscript for yourself);

 

(2)     The submitted essays should be related to neural restoration, scientificand the objective must be clear;

 

(3)     The  sequence of the essay should be subject, author’s name, work unit,  contact information (zip code and telephone number) and abstract; the  abstract should include objective, method, result and conclusion. For  more information, please visit our website at ;

 

(4)     All essays which have not been published in scientific journals prior to April 15, 2008;

VI. Credit Distribution:

 

The  conference representatives will be conferred 3 points in Class I of  Chinese Medical Association (CMA) of national continuing medical  education (CME);

VII. Expenses:

 

1. Registration fee for each conference representative (including material fee):Before  May 15, 2008(except May 15, 2008): 800 RMB/per person, on May 15, 2008:1000 RMB/ per person. Other currencies should be converted in the most recent rate according to the posted price;

 

2. Students (graduate and post-graduate) can pay half price using student ID card;

 

3. Every attendee needs to pay for the accommodation and transportation expenses     but the conference affairs group can help book the room;

 

4.  The hotel rooms need to be booked in advance. We will attach the  registration receipt with the conference notice. Please fill it and mail  or email to the conference organizing committee before May 15, 2008. We  will arrange the related matters according to the receipts. Otherwise  we are unable to reserve a room for you in the hotel;

1.  From Beijing Capital Airport: By airport bus to Gongzhufen Stop, and  transfer to the Subway Line1 to the terminal station Pingguoyuan, then  by No. 959, No.977, No.336 or No.972 bus to Sanjiadianxikou stop;

 

2. From Beijing West Railway Station: By the No.941 bus to Sanjiadianxiko stop;
